I am a Sharks fan and I don’t care for these Kings. In fact, I really wish that the Kings would have lost in the first round.

But with the Kings shocking everybody as the 8th seed, I start to realize that we need the Kings to keep playing well. Their mentality, style is playing at a level that is just fun to watch.

Since they were in must-win mode to just into the playoffs, they carried that right into the dance and dominated the Canucks and Blues. Now they’ve won again and appear to be on their way to the Cup Finals. And if they actually win the Cup, I’ll be living in Los Angeles and I might just go the parade to see.

Not because I am a Kings fan, but I want to be part of what I think is one of the most remarkable playoff runs in any sport.
