IF LINK DOESN’T WORK, TRY THIS
This happened on Sunday and apparently this “feud” has been going on for some time. This is the fan that was getting into it with Chris Perez.
@Jorgeleon17 it started a couple years ago when he basically told me that Oakland is a shithole.. so every time he's here we go at it—

So how do we go about this? I am a Chris Perez fan but I am never OK with athletes getting into verbal attacks, especially with profanity, with a fan no matter what. Professional athletes are supposed to be used to the heckling.
But at the same time, when a fan tries to start something, at a certain point, they need to be put in their place. I know that there are security people that are supposed to break it up but you have to wonder if that’s enough. Especially when the fan’s intention is to start something, how should the athlete respond?
I am not saying that it’s OK to use profanity to get back at a fan, but sometimes, these fans do need to get something. But ultimately, players should just keep their distance. Their image is a lot more important than just one fan’s.
