TDIF: Jerry Rice Breaks Career-TD Record

I was only eight at the time this happened and I actually don’t remember watching this game. But a big moment and it was against the Raiders.

On this date in football ─ September 5, 1994 ─ Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice scored his 127th career touchdown, moving him into first place in the NFL record book.  Rice, the former Mississippi Valley State standout, went on to score 208 touchdowns in his twenty-year NFL career, and is still the leader in career touchdowns to this day.
