NCAA basketball: Where money has precedent over common sense

So that anticipated Ohio State (4)-Marquette matchup you wanted to see? Yeah, that game didn’t happen. In fact it got cancelled because there was too much condensation on the floor.

What?

Because the NCAA decided that TV ratings and all that good stuff was way more important than common sense, they decided to let the aforementioned game play on an aircraft carrier. Being surrounded by water can lead to some condensation.

Now this isn’t the first time games have been played on a carrier and the NCAA has been lucky up to this point about it. But now that this nonsense has happened, you’ve got to believe this is the last we’ve seen of this nonsense.
