Blake Griffin with one of the worst flops I have ever seen at Warriors game

Huge win by the Warriors over the Clippers. This is the kind of win that tells the entire world that the Warriors are for real and that their good start is not a fluke.

During the game, we have the above play occur. Festus Ezeli fouls Blake Griffin and in the process, Griffin flips and nearly hits David Lee with his leg. My initial reaction was that it was a big foul and the referees got the call right.

Upon further review of the replay, I realized that this was another horrible flop job by Griffin.

Let me put this out there. Ezeli did foul Griffin, I am not denying that. But the severity of it? Not as bad as it seems. If you take a look at how Ezeli grabs onto Griffin, there is no way with an outstretched arm and that kind of grip Ezeli could have flipped Griffin like that. It’s very clear Griffin embellished the foul.

Not only that, but he flipped himself over and nearly gave himself a concussion.

Fans in the arena booed when they saw the replay. Unfortunately, the officials didn’t see the embellishment and Griffin got off without any punishment for his flop.

Griffin is a notorious flopper but this is one of the worst I have ever seen. Ezeli should not have been given a flagrant-1 because Griffin decided to act out a foul.

Nobody likes Griffin for things like this and it’s frustrating that he still gets away with it.
