I think (and hope) that this tweet from Darnell Dockett was a joke. After all, we all were introduced to Katherine Webb as AJ McCarron’s girlfriend. But it’s still funny that Darnell Dockett is trying to holler at her.

(Dockett supposedly deleted the tweet but it’s still on there. He then claimed it was supposed to be a direct message, even though it would be impossible to send one to her since she doesn’t follow him.)

And after all, this was such a boring game that Webb ended up being the talk of the entire game. Oh well, at least Brent Musberger got his kicks out of it.

But to the actual game, I had not seen much of Notre Dame this year and I always thought they were overrated. Unlike Alabama, they don’t face enough tough competition like the SEC. But they have talented players. It’s just that they were an obvious mismatch.

And also, I was rooting for Alabama simply because Adidas outfits Notre Dame. I don’t like Adidas and because of that, it was easy to cheer on the Crimson Tide.

I do hope that when the playoffs come around, that these blowout bowl games are fewer. I like my college football, but boring bowl games are just hard to watch.
