If you haven’t heard, JaMarcus Russell wants to play in the NFL again despite having not thrown a pass since 2009. His weight, lack of motivation and off-field issues made him a perfect fit for the dysfunctional Raiders. But to be a successful football team, he was not a good fit.

I don’t know if he’s really determined or if he’s just realized he’s not good at anything else. Obviously the biggest question is whether or not he cares enough. And secondly, what team would even consider bringing him in?

We haven’t seen Russell play football for a while so I can’t judge if he has changed or not. Regardless, he’s been a bust and unless he’s had some kind of epiphany mentally and physically, I would get nowhere near this guy. I just can’t take him seriously.
