Finally! The Warriors’ logo actually makes sense now

On Monday night, this logo was finally no longer hypothetical.

The eastern span of the Bay Bridge finally opened late Monday night. And with that news, the Golden State Warriors logo is now accurate.

The Warriors’ logo features the eastern span of the bridge but since 2010 when they rebranded to this design, the bridge itself was still under construction. This was the first time in my memory that a logo would feature a landmark that actually did not exist.

But now that the bridge’s construction has been completed and is now in full use, the Warriors’ hypothetical logo is now a reality.

The team acknowledged it with this tweet.

Now only if we can prevent the team from moving.
