I’ve wondered about the possibility of the NHL having an outdoor game in the Bay Area. The perfect venue would be AT&T Park and now there is a chance it can come real soon.

The popularity of hockey is growing in California and this would be nothing but beneficial for the league and fans in California. The only concern is whether not it will be successful.

As the outdoor game will be played in Southern California this year, that will be the first testing point for having an outdoor game in California. If this goes well, then it will absolutely open the door for it to happen in the Bay Area. Let’s make it happen!
