A long time ago when I started to slowly and gradually grow my McFarlane collection, there had been rumor that one of him leading off the first base bag existed. But it was debunked.

However, we have news that it will be made after all. McFarlane will create this version of Rickey Henderson after having released one a couple years back.

(Although I am disappointed that they didn’t accurately get his socks right.)

This is exciting for me personally because that leadoff version was one I wish that did exist. Now that we know it does exist, I know I must get my hands on it. It’s the most perfect Rickey Henderson McFarlane.

I can’t wait until next spring!
