MLB Network’s Twitter page shared a tweet about Xander Bogaerts breaking up Chris Sale’s no-hitter bid.

The problem, however, is that MLB Network claims it was Bogaerts’ first ever big league home run. That actually is not true. He hit his first homer last season.

People on Twitter made sure they were aware of it.

Errors.

Secondly, they used @XanderBogaerts in their tweet. The problem with that is Bogaert deleted his Twitter earlier in the day due to an accidental NSFW tweet he sent out. So in a sense, MLB Network was referring to an account that doesn’t exist anymore. You’d think they’d be on top of such news about Bogaerts’ Twitter since it was all the news when he made that tweet.

Well, we hope MLB Network gets it right next time.
