Aldon Smith’s nine game suspension is tough but acceptable

First of all, here is the story via Twitter.

So Aldon Smith gets the nine games and part of the deal he gets with it is that he can still be with team at facility during suspension. It’s a tough thing to take in but I think it’s a fair punishment for him.

The only thing that makes it tough is that the other situations, most notably the Ray Rice domestic violence situation, which was only given two games. But as of right now, I think the commissioner is trying to really send a message. His new tone of tough love is kicking in.

Ultimately, even though I think nine games is tough, it’s not something I can think is unfair. Hopefully Smith gets himself mentally and physically ready for football when he returns. Plus he cleans up his act.

And best solution to this? Just don’t get in trouble.
