A couple days ago I found and posted this picture.
I noted that it appears that they had started painting the Broncos end zone on the wrong side of the field before realizing the error.
Just today, my tweet generated some buzz and was used in some articles.
There are two things I believe may have happened.
One is the aforementioned that they simply made an error.
The other reason is that they were testing out some paints. Knowing that the Panthers would have a black end zone, they could easily just paint over the testing. Had they made an error on the correct end zone, it’s harder to cover up.
I want to believe it’s the latter but the former might have been the reason.
