Jaguars’ weekly Facebook Live press conferences are bring out the sad in the fans
This is so sad. The team does not look good. The team is losing games. Yet every week the Jaguars decide that they want to post the Monday press conference on Facebook Live. Head coach Gus Bradley has not lived up to expectations and as with Facebook Live, fans can react with emojis.
It’s sad. It’s anger. It’s comments with irrational thoughts.
The idea of Facebook Live press conferences is great. But when the team is 2-8 and looking awful, this is what you get. If they keep losing, expect more of this every Monday.
Lew Wolff steps down meaning A’s could get better?
Does this mean that the A’s are going to get better with Lew Wolff selling his property rights? I don’t know. It’s a good idea but maybe it does change up how money is spent on the team.
I don’t know what exactly will change for the team. Obviously the biggest thing for the team is the product on the field and the team’s future home park. Let’s see where this goes.

Diamondbacks are making the uniform changes we all wanted
What a relief! The Diamondbacks heard the complaints and are making some changes.
The number fonts on the front and the name on the back is much more legible now.
The pants stripes are actually at full length now. Additionally, the gradients on the pants are gone.
It’s a lot cleaner and it is not as horrible. It’s funny that they saw the computer design and thought it was good and a month into the season realized it was not god. I am glad they listened to the complaints.
What was an awful design has now been cleaned up to be a less awful design. Good job!
Ernie Johnson’s response to the election and my thoughts
I don’t talk about politics ever and this may be one of a few I may ever share on this blog.
I am getting mixed reactions from this speech last night by Ernie Johnson.
On the one hand, he is praised for being truthful and thoughtful as a Christian and how he views the election.
Yet at the same time, he admitted that he voted for someone who knew wasn’t going to win and in a sense, played a role in the winner of the election.
It really depends on how you look at it and what you value out of the electoral college and your view of the aftermath of this election for those who are religious.
I agree with everything Johnson said about his faith but the part about his ballot makes me wonder. I don’t know if I should just feel a certain way about him or how the entire country voted (with a reported 46.9% of eligible voters not voting).
Either way, the dialogue we must have with one another must be positive in order for us to embrace the new era in this country.
Cubs winning the World Series is great and it sucks
Any other year the Cubs winning the World Series would be great! I would be happy for them and I would lavish in their celebration. I am still happy for them. But I wish it didn’t happen this way.
I am an A’s fan through and through so the Cubs winning doesn’t affect me. There are former A’s on the Cubs and the Indians I cheered for. But the Indians were the team I wanted to win.
Since high school I adopted the Indians as my second favorite team. I always have a secondary team in all sports. I chose them because they were an American League team. They also were going through a drought and they weren’t in a major city like New York or Los Angeles. I liked the players on the team at the time so I decided to follow them.
But at the end of the day...
