Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Stars start pathetic Twitter feud

Earlier in the day while responding to a fan’s question, the Dallas Cowboys took a jab at the Dallas Stars. The tweet was later deleted but as you can see, the Stars caught it before it went off the Internet.

In response to it, the Stars posted the above image, saying that their #9 can get the job done. That’s Mike Modano with the team’s Stanley Cup trophy.

After seeing this, I have to say this is pretty pathetic on both sides of the argument.

Why would the Cowboys make fun of their in-town sports team. They have no reason to be feuding. They should be supporting each other. Instead, they go out and mock hockey and baseball at the same time. What gives?

And the Stars had a nice attempt at poking fun back at the Cowboys, which I don’t get. But seriously, the team hasn’t been to the playoffs since 2008 and that photo is from 1999. The Stars aren’t all that either.

So what happens when two not so good franchises start beefing on the Internet? You get this sad display.

This isn’t what Twitter is for. If you’re going to do something wrong, at least do it right. Don’t let it come to this.
