Sunday’s championship games are a blessing to all football fans

What a great day we have in store for us on Sunday. (NFL Network)

It’s rare in the NFL in which before the season begins, the teams we expect to battle for the Super Bowl actually make it. With injuries, surprise teams and other factors, the final four never actually ends as the team we expect. But when it does, it’s a beautiful thing.

This Sunday we will have exactly what the NFL world expected to see. We got the classic matchup of future Hall of Famers Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. It’s a rivalry that continues to give us memorable moments.

On the other side, we have the two new young guns that are changing the way we see NFL quarterbacks. Not only that, the defenses for both teams are phenomenal.

But here we are, with the two matchups we wanted to see for the right to play in the Super Bowl. Two teams led by the veteran quarterbacks and two teams led by the up and coming future of the league.

What makes this Sunday so exciting is that regardless of who ends up as the Super Bowl participants, we are getting one great matchup. There are a ton of amazing storylines that could unfold and it all comes to fruition this Sunday.

Entering this season, I expected these four teams to be in the mix. I initially thought that the Falcons would be in it too, but with injuries and just a lot of misfortune, it was clear by midseason that the best four teams are the teams we have today.

So who wins and goes to the Super Bowl? As a football fan, it doesn’t matter. What we have right here is beautiful. Let’s enjoy that for a moment. We are so blessed.

I’ll give my predictions tomorrow.
