The NFL issued some new rules for this upcoming season. Overtime periods are now only 10 minutes, which I am indifferent about. There is now one less roster cutdown period, which I am also indifferent about.
But this news is the big one.
Now we are allowed to have the football used as a prop for a celebration without penalty. Group celebrations and going to the ground is now acceptable. Of course, there are still some limits on how long these can go but it’s a step in the right direction.
The NFL used to allow this but started cracking down on these celebrations recently. Now that we have these celebrations no longer on the black list, we can all return to having some fun again. Progress!
But sadly, we still aren’t allowed three pumps.
One day.
