RIP to the Ultimate Warrior — one of my favorites of all time

The Ultimate Warrior was one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. The energy, the entrance, the strength, the craziness. That was all I loved about Warrior.

This Saturday I just saw him go into the WWE Hall of Fame. He was happy. He was all smiles thinking about his family. He was going to do more work for the WWE. It was great.

He got a standing ovation at WrestleMania the next day from the sellout crowd.

Last night on Monday Night Raw, he gave a great speech, saying that the spirit of the Warrior lives on.

A part of me doesn’t want to even think or speculate that this was a suicide, having the speech last night be his farewell. Maybe it was a heart attack. I don’t know. In this world of wrestlers post-career, so many crazy deaths happen. Nothing is out of the question.

You can check out his speech from Raw right here.

I never really got a chance to watch a lot of Warrior as a kid. In fact, it was after he left did I start watching his stuff over and me falling in love with everything about him. I even consider his entrance theme the greatest of all time.

Until we find out what happened, I’ll continue to celebrate him. I don’t know how else to feel right now. I just saw him and now he’s gone.

I’m going to watch WrestleMania VI right now.

RIP and thank you for entertaining me.
