I am a Monty Python fan. I like musicals. I’ve always wanted to see Spamalot. All three came together today as I went to Simi Valley to check out the show.

It was a fun show with all the classic scenes from the “Holy Grail” movie with a spunky soundtrack. The songs sung were so fun and great to sing along with. The actors were tremendous, including their facial expressions. It really got me laughing throughout the show.

The flow of the show went so smoothly and since I remembered so much of the movie, it was easy to follow. The dancing, the singing and the comedy flowed so well as King Arthur’s clownish knights all continued to do ridiculous things. Also, major props to the Lady of the Lake. Her singing voice was amazing.

I really recommend this to anyone who really wants a good laugh and just an opportunity to really enjoy a fun time. I had fun and after waiting years to get a chance to see it, I am glad I got to cross this off my list. Now to continue to looking towards the bright side of life.
